FAQ

What should I expect each week?

At the beginning of June, we welcome you to our farm's stand to pick up your share. At our stand you can choose from what is freshly harvested to take home with you for the week. The beginning of June always brings plenty of greens, snacking items as well as some things we have stored over Winter. During the peak Summer weeks, expect plenty of colour and diversity.

June Example: Radishes, Kale, Turnips, Herbs, Lettuce, Sunchokes, Arugula, Herbs

July Example: Potatoes, Carrots, Peas, Cucumbers, Salad Mix, Beans, Paddypans, Swiss Chard, Tomatoes

September

Onions, Peppers, Zuchinni, Melons, Beets, Eggplant, Mustard Mix, Eggplant, Squash

What if I miss or want to change my pick up time?

In the event that you cannot pick up your share, we ask that you invite a friend or family member to pick up on your behalf during your time slot. It makes for a pretty sweet gift! We are not able to offer refunds on any missed pick-ups at this time.

What's with the time slots ?

We have limited space for parking and think it's important not to overwhelm the neighborhood. Also, not everyone likes picking up in the evening. If you can't make your time slot we can be flexible but we ask that you pick the time that will suit you the majority of the season.

What if there are vegetables I don't like?

Very few of us truly love every vegetable. We will be trying our best to have options each week to make sure you don't go home with vegetables you do not like.

What if I cannot afford an entire season's share at once?

We understand that paying upfront for an entire season's share of vegetables is not affordable for everyone. At this time we do not offer a payment instalment option on our website, however please send us an email at hello@puzzlegrassfarm.com and we can sort something out with you.

Can I buy extra veggies some weeks?

We would love that! Each member has a tab they can add to at any time. Most of the time we will have extra's for you, but if it's an emergency extra vegetables necessary type situation just send us an email and we will harvest a bit extra!
